A little more about me

I’ve spent a lifetime fascinated by human nature and the paths we choose to take.

My own journey has taken me through business, academia, motherhood, wellbeing and a few rebuilds along the way.

Rebuild grew out of a question I kept returning to: what do we do when the life we've built no longer quite fits who we are today?

Not necessarily because something is wrong. Sometimes, we've simply changed.

CHAPTER ONE

I didn't always know I was rebuilding.

For a long time, I thought life was fairly linear. You study. You build a career. You find your place. You create a family. You make things work.

And I did.

My life has taken me through academia, business, motherhood and different chapters. I've been a university professor and a business executive. I've built things, changed direction, started again and learned to navigate the moments when the plan no longer quite matched reality.

Some changes were choices I made. Others were made for me.

And increasingly, I noticed something interesting: the hardest transitions weren't always the dramatic ones. Sometimes everything looked fine from the outside. But something had shifted underneath.

My priorities had changed. My energy had changed. What I wanted from work had changed. The way I thought about health, time and the life I wanted to build had changed.

I began to see that perhaps the question wasn't always:

"How do I fix this?" But rather "Does this still fit who I am now?"

That question became the beginning of Rebuild.

CHAPTER TWO

So, what do I bring to the table?

We live in a world where everyone seems to have an opinion, a method, a qualification or an answer. There is no shortage of people telling us what to do, how to work, how to feel, how to change and how to live.

So how do we decide whom to listen to? And how do we know what is actually right for us?

I think this becomes particularly interesting as we get older. We’ve tried things, changed our minds, made mistakes and learned a few lessons along the way.

Quite often, what we need isn’t another person telling us what to do.

We need a space where those pieces can come together. A chance to connect the dots, look at things from another angle, question a few assumptions and perhaps discover something we hadn’t quite seen before.

That’s where I see my role.

CHAPTER THREE

My role: guide, not guru

I don't believe anyone can know everything, and I certainly don't believe there is a cookie-cutter approach to human life.

We are different. Our circumstances, priorities, ambitions and starting points are different, too. But I do believe there are ways of approaching change that can help.

Better questions. Useful frameworks. Different perspectives. A little structure. And sometimes, simply having someone alongside you who can help you see the connections.

My background brings together business, academia, motherhood and wellbeing. I've worked as a university professor and business executive, built things, changed direction, explored different approaches to health and wellbeing, and navigated a few transitions of my own.

I bring that experience, my curiosity and a framework that I believe can be genuinely useful.

Think of me as a guide and thinking partner: someone who can help you explore the questions, recognise what matters, connect the dots and find your own way forward.

Living and exploring

I've spent years working in business, navigating strategy, leadership, change and the realities of making things work in the real world.

I've spent another part of my life teaching and asking better questions — something that continues to shape how I think about change.

I'm a mother, an IIN-trained health coach and a long-time yoga practitioner. I'm also exploring Ayurveda, longevity and what it means to stay well as we grow older.

Not as another set of rules to follow, but as questions worth exploring.

I DON'T THINK REBUILDING MEANS STARTING OVER.

We carry a lot with us as we move through life: experience, relationships, knowledge, responsibilities, mistakes, successes and a better understanding of what matters to us.

Rebuilding isn't about throwing all of that away. It's about noticing what has changed, understanding what that means, and making more intentional choices about what comes next.

That's the thinking behind Rebuild.

NOTICE · UNDERSTAND · EXPERIMENT · ADAPT · REBUILD

WHY I CREATED REBUILD

I created Rebuild for those who have already built a life. People who have experience. Responsibilities. Careers. Families. Relationships. Stories. And yet sometimes find themselves asking:

"What works for me now?"

Maybe it's a career that no longer feels right. Maybe a relationship with work, time, health or ambition has changed. Maybe your body is asking you to pay attention in a different way. Maybe you're simply beginning to wonder whether the life you've built is the life you still want. Rebuild is a space to explore those questions -without assuming that everyone needs the same answer.

AND THEN THERE'S THE BODY.

One thing I've become increasingly curious about is what happens when rebuilding isn't only about our work, relationships or identity. Our bodies change too. Our energy changes. Our sleep changes. Our relationship with movement, food, stress and recovery changes.

This has led me deeper into my own exploration of yoga, health, Ayurveda and longevity. I'm interested in a bigger question:

How do we build a life that supports us not just now, but for the long life ahead?

I don't think the goal is simply to live longer.

I think it's to build a life you actually want to live for a long time.

HOW I THINK ABOUT REBUILDING

NOTICE

What has changed?

UNDERSTAND

What is really going on?

EXPERIMENT

What could I try differently?

ADAPT

What am I learning?

REBUILD

What do I want to create from here?

I don't believe in prescribing a perfect life. I believe in asking better questions, testing what might work, paying attention to what we learn and adjusting along the way.

A FEW THINGS I KNOW NOW

I know that not every change needs to be resisted.

I know that being capable of something doesn't mean we have to keep doing it.

I know that sometimes we choose the change, and sometimes the change chooses us.

I know that health isn't another project we need to optimise.

And I know that we don't have to rebuild everything at once.

Sometimes the first step is simply noticing that something has changed.

SO, WHERE ARE YOU IN YOUR REBUILD?

Maybe something in your life has stopped fitting. Maybe something has changed that you didn't choose. Maybe you're curious about what could come next. Or maybe you're simply beginning to ask different questions.

Wherever you are, you're welcome here.
